Well quite often bands seem to just slip into obscurity, it's been years since their last release and you assume they have split up. Reasonable assumption but it's not always the case. Here are some bands I have come across recently who are still plugging away out there somewhere:

Wilberry - This was the band that later evolved into (the apparently short lived) Dusk, however it seems they are now back playing as wilberry.

Hi-5 - Not released anything since 2005's S/T album but still out there touring apparently.

Bacon - Releasing a new album in June after being largely silent for several years.
