Who are paume?

A very underrated japanese indie rock trio, active from 1995 to the present.

Why make a site?

Because to put it simply, it's very hard to find information about them at all, let alone in english, that and the afforementioned underratedness. They deserve more recognition, so this site collects all the information about them I have managed to find.

What do they sound like?

Their sound is very Lo-Fi, if you are familiar with other Less Than TV artists you will know what I mean, however their sound is somewhat softer than some of those other bands and therefore, more accessible. They mix distorted guitars, neat tunes and distinctive female vocals.

No releases since 2000 what gives?

Well, as far as I can tell they are still together and play live occasionally. More than this I can't say for certain.
